Anju Garden (안주가든) is near Seolleung Station in Gangnam, Seoul.[1] On my September 23 visit, I ordered raw shrimp, Jeju hanchi with buckwheat noodles, and whole steamed squid. The portions felt about right, and the seafood tasted fresh overall. That freshness was what I liked most about the meal.
This guide shows the three dishes I ordered, their Korean names, and current reference prices. Information from other diners appears separately from my own visit notes.

- Korean name: 안주가든.[1]

What did I order at Anju Garden?
Raw shrimp: 생새우회

생새우회, the raw shrimp dish from my visit.
The first plate had peeled shrimp beside the shrimp heads, with greens, garlic and sliced chillies around them. The Korean word 회, often written as hoe, is useful to recognise when looking at raw seafood dishes.
If you avoid raw seafood, ask staff about suitable cooked dishes before ordering.
Jeju hanchi with buckwheat noodles: 제주 한치모밀

제주 한치모밀, photographed with the sauce served separately.
The restaurant describes this dish as Jeju hanchi served with cool buckwheat noodles.[2] Hanchi is a type of squid; 모밀 refers to buckwheat noodles.
In my photo, thin strips of seafood sit over the noodles, with a separate bowl of red sauce beside the plate. This is the noodle dish in my order, rather than a separate bowl of noodle soup.
Whole steamed squid: 동해 초코 오징어 통찜

동해 초코 오징어 통찜, the whole steamed squid dish.
The menu describes this as squid from the East Sea, steamed whole.[2] In the photo, the body has been cut across into sections and the tentacles sit alongside it on the greens.
통찜 means steamed whole. It is a useful menu term if you are trying to distinguish this from a raw squid dish.
How much do these dishes cost?
The menu prices checked on October 25, 2026 were:
- 생새우회 · Raw shrimp: ₩39,000.[2]
- 제주 한치모밀 · Jeju hanchi with buckwheat noodles: ₩32,000.[2]
- 동해 초코 오징어 통찜 · Whole steamed squid: ₩23,000.[2]
These are current reference prices, not my September bill. The menu page was marked as updated on October 22, after my visit, so check prices and availability again before ordering.[2] These figures are for the listed dishes, not an estimate of what one person would spend.
What do other visitors say about queues and atmosphere?
The displayed Naver visitor reviews checked for this article include comments about fresh ingredients and an outdoor-style atmosphere.[3] Reports of waiting vary: some diners recorded immediate seating, while others reported waits of two hours or more.[3]
Those are other diners’ experiences, not my own waiting time or a guarantee about the seating. The ten reviews were a small displayed selection, not a survey of every visit. Check the current queue or reservation arrangements before fitting the restaurant into a tight schedule.
Before you go
Save the current Naver listing to check opening hours and contact details, and use the Korean dish names above if you want to order the same food. The photographs show my own order; they do not guarantee that every dish will be available on another visit.
All three photographs are from my September 23 visit. My assessment of portions and freshness comes from that visit. Address, menu prices and the separate review summary were checked on October 25, 2026.
